When it goes public, it needs to be right.

Māori language in public-facing content carries weight. A mistranslation, an inconsistency, or a macron out of place is not invisible to the people it matters to most. These services are built for organisations that take that seriously.

DESIGNED FOR

Comms teams, executives, and content leads working to a deadline.

You are about to publish something. An Annual Report, a campaign, a press release, a website update, a staff communication. It includes te reo Māori and you need confidence that every word is accurate, culturally sound, and consistent with how your organisation has used the language before. This is where we come in.

THE OFFERINGS

Two ways to get it right before it reaches your audience.

Completed by a specialist Māori linguist. Every translation is checked for accuracy, macron use, cultural integrity, and consistency before anything leaves our hands. For higher-stakes content, a second specialist reviews the work before delivery. We translate website copy, reports, policy, campaigns, signage, and corporate content of any length.

Translation and Language Review

  • From $1.10/word

    Single linguist

Suited to general corporate content, staff communications, and website copy. Minimum engagement $450 + GST.

  • From $1.60/word

    Translator & reviewer

Suited to Annual Reports, policy documents, high-visibility campaigns, and any content where accuracy is non-negotiable. Minimum engagement $585 + GST.

A language check of a specific piece before it goes live. You send us the document, we go through it carefully, and you receive a marked-up version with corrections and recommendations your team can act on and learn from. Suited to Annual Reports, website copy, press releases, campaign copy, and staff communications at any stage of draft. Scoped by length and complexity.

Content Review

Simple to start. Rigorous in delivery.

Send us your document or word count and a brief description of the content. We will confirm scope, price, and turnaround within one business day. For ongoing translation needs across multiple documents or channels, the Partner Retainer may be a more efficient fit. Retainer clients receive priority turnaround and preferred rates.

IN THEIR WORDS

From organisations we have worked with on translation and content review.

Practical details to help you move forward with confidence.

THE DETAILS

  • Word documents, Google Docs, PDFs, and plain text. For website copy, a URL or pasted content works equally well. If your format is unusual, mention it in your enquiry and we will confirm.

  • If the content is high-visibility, going to a large audience, or involves policy or legal language, dual-linguist is the right call. If you are unsure, tell us what the content is and we will recommend the appropriate level.

  • Yes. Bilingual documents are a core part of what we do. We review and translate across both languages and check that the Māori and English versions are consistent with each other.

  • Where capacity allows, yes. Rush rates apply for work requested outside standard timeframes. If your deadline is tight, please mention it in your enquiry and we will be upfront about whether we can meet it before you commit.
